The Bahia Palace is one of the most important architectural works of Marrakech. It was built at the end of the 19th century with the hope of being the most impressive palace of all time.

Construction of the palace took more than a decade and was completed by the grand vizier of Sultan Abdelaziz Si Moussa. At the end of the 19th century, the palace fell into the hands of AbuBou Ahmed, a black slave turned vizier who gave the building its present appearance.

900 meters southeast of Jemaa el-Fna.

From Jamaa el-Fna, take Rue Riad Zitoun el Jdid (which forms the corner with the Marrakchi restaurant). You will get there straight away.
